Happy Valentine’s Day, couponers! Here are some deals I got while out today!
First, I got 2 boxes of Fiber One bars- one for $1.96 and one for $1.10 with a coupon. I also got Quaker oatmeal for $1.50, and 2 packs of Stride ID Gum for $.50/each!

Happy Super Bowl, couponers! Hope you all got great deals today and that your team wins! In the meantime, check out the Walgreens deals I got today…
First, I got some Butterball Turkey Bacon for $.74, 2 3-packs of Orbit gum for $.50/pack, some Colgate Toothpaste for $.49, and 3 chocolate treats for a little over $.05/each!
One note- while I was picking out the Colgate, I noticed that the 4.0 oz was stocked higher up and the 6.0 oz was stocked near the floor. Of course, the deal and accompanying coupon is for any Colgate 4.0 oz or above, so you obviously want to get the 6.0 oz. Moral of the story is… Look near the bottom of the shelf to get more bang for your buck!

Happy End of the Semester, fellow student couponers! Here are some deals I picked up last week, amongst my crazy schedule of projects and exams…
I got 2 packs of Conair bobby pins for about $.80/each, Colgate toothpaste $.50, FREE mini lotion, a FREE Paperblanks 2013 planner, Butterfingers $.50/each, and each bag of candy up top came out to be $.13/each! Also, I snuck in a little Beatles ornament that I got for free with my register rewards… just trust me, it’s a must for a mega Beatlemaniac like myself :)

Here are a few random freebies I’ve gotten recently (plus a lil’ extra favorite)!
Obviously I didn’t get You’ve Got Mail for free but I got it on a good deal and I decided to add it into this picture for some reason… Anyway, I also got 2 FREE holiday placemats, 3 FREE greeting cards, and a FREE Starbucks drink because of my birthday! I wanted to do an additional post about my birthday freebies but never got around to it. Some of them included a FREE pasta dish, FREE Caribou coffee, FREE lip treatment, and a FREE sub sandwich!

Hello! I got started out of curiosity, really. I watched Extreme Couponing and immediately started searching online for couponing blogs. When I found them, I spent all night trying to figure out the lingo and how to work out deals. My first couponing trip was to Target and I only got a few things but I barely paid anything, and it was awesome! I soon realized that Extreme Couponing is not realistic- don’t expect to get 1000 boxes of Advil PM and 200 free Pepsi’s in a trip- but, you can still get great everyday items that will lessen your monthly bill by a whole lot. As far as tips go- I suggest finding a couponing blog that you like. I used to use TheKrazyCouponLady, TotallyTarget, WildforWags, and Hip2Save, and now I mostly use Hip2Save. She has a link specifically for new couponers to help you understand the in’s and out’s of couponing and posts the weekly drugstore deals every Saturday (the day before the deals roll over), plus regular in-store and online deals from various stores. I will buy just 1 paper every Sunday and clip my coupons from there, as well as print any online that I want, and then keep the inserts in case you need a coupon in the future that you didn’t clip. Plan out your trip before you go. Write down what you plan to buy, how much you plan to spend out of pocket (OOP), how many transactions you are going to do, and how many register rewards (RR) you should end up with. This way, you can be sure that everything goes smoothly and you get your deals. Hip2Save maps out every deal- from what coupons to use, to how much you will pay OOP, and the RR’s you should get back! I like to roll my RR’s, which just means that you pay for your transaction using RR’s and then end up getting RR’s back. It’s awesome! Also, I suggest signing up for reward sites like Recyclebank and Swagbucks! You can get FREE gift cards and rewards really easily. Lastly, be patient! You will get better the more you do it. Like I said, my first couponing trip wasn’t anything compared to what I do now, but I got better, and now couponing lingo is like a second language to me! Pre-Thanksgivin’ Deals
Hellllllo! I come bearing deals after a long hiatus! Life as a full time student/part time retail associate/full time girlfriend/part time Walking Dead watcher is BUSY! So busy that I haven’t been able to coupon much :( HOWEVER, before I put on my part time Walking Dead watcher hat I made it out to CVS to score some exciting pre-thanksgivin’ deals!
Almost everything you see here was FREEEEEE! Minus the Chex Mix which was $.99, and the Belvita which was $1.49. The Hot Wheels will be a great little surprise for my nephew, so I am probably most excited about that freebie! I also got the Visine Tired Eye Drops and a Coke Zero (not pictured) for FREE! Pretty good deals if I do say so myself- gobble gobble.

I’m not doing much couponing this week but I have grabbed these deals recently!
I got 2 FREE Suave deodorants, $.74 Dawn dish soap, FREE Lipton tea, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner $1/each (This price is great because they are normally over $5 at Rite Aid.. and a wonderful product!) FREE trial pack of CVS makeup wipes, a FREE can of cat food and a FREE sample of Nescafe Memento! I also got a FREE 8x10 photo from Walgreens this week and a U by Kotex clutch and sample and badass Obama sticker today. Wooohooooo!
Also, I have been watching Hoarders for like 4 hours straight…
